The project transforms the former commercial premises of Passage Rogier into a versatile space that enables the Brussels regional public service to reconnect with the city through a glazed, porous façade opening onto the public realm. By embracing the site’s infrastructural character, the renovation adopts a garage-like aesthetic and incorporates industrial artefacts to define and enrich the spaces. Seeking to make the most of the site’s constraints, the project deliberately offers a distinctive spatial experience, in marked contrast with that of the Iris Tower.
